We are pleased to announce a series of enhancements to our Western Mediterranean to West Africa network. The revised setup introduces the new WAF1 service and updates the port coverage of WAF3, WAF5 and WAF6, creating more direct connections via Algeciras and Tangier to key West African markets.

Service enhancements

WAF1 – The new WAF1 service will provide a dedicated connection between Algeciras, Tangier and Dakar. This will improve connectivity to Dakar, including cargo originating in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
WAF3 – The service coverage will be updated to include Tema, Onne and Pointe-Noire, providing direct Western Mediterranean connections to these markets.
WAF5 – The service will be extended to Algeciras and Tangier and will include Monrovia, Abidjan, Takoradi, San-Pedro and Lagos, strengthening coverage across the Central West Africa range and supporting key export flows.
WAF6 – The service coverage will be expanded to include Cotonou.

WAF1 and WAF5 are new rotations in Western Mediterranean.
For WAF1, the rotation will be: Algeciras - Tangier – Dakar - Algeciras
For WAF5, the rotation will be: Algeciras - Tangier - Monrovia - Abidjan - Takoradi - San-Pedro - Lagos - Algeciras

The adjustments will be effective from the third week in December in Western Mediterranean. Please note that schedules may be subject to change.
