Dear Valued Customers,

Due to increased operational complexities, stowage constraints and additional handling costs associated with hazardous cargo during the peak shipping season, we will be introducing a Peak Season Hazardous Surcharge for all hazardous cargo shipments loading from Melbourne and Sydney to New Zealand, effective from 15th October 2026.

Loading	Destination	Cargo Type	Surcharge
Melbourne, Australia	New Zealand	Hazardous Cargo	USD150/ teu
Sydney, Australia	New Zealand	Hazardous Cargo	USD150/ teu

The surcharge will apply to all cargo classified as hazardous/dangerous goods in accordance with the IMDG Code.
