Shipping from Jeddah to Aden? A Middle East Emergency Surcharge (MES) is coming up
Due to the ongoing situation in the Bab el-Mandeb area, we have arranged an alternative solution for affected Aden-bound cargo currently in Jeddah. The cargo will be transported from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Aden, Yemen, via a third-party feeder service.
To help minimize further delays, your cargo will be transported to Aden, where it will be available for customs clearance and collection. Please make the necessary arrangements for the collection of your container(s) in Aden.
A Middle East Emergency Surcharge (MES) will apply to this alternative transport solution. The applicable surcharge levels are:

- The MES will apply in addition to the applicable freight, War Risk Surcharge (WRS) and other relevant port-related charges.
