The Port of Valencia is scheduled to undergo civil works that will affect our rail services. These works are expected to start on 25th September and continue until 07th November, unless there are any delays or changes to the planned schedule.

To mitigate the potential impact of these works and maintain our customers rail flows, we have developed an alternative operating plan using an external terminal as a hub for some of our train services.

ALTERNATIVE PLAN BY RAIL

As the bottleneck for our trains will be within the Port of Valencia, we are planning to use the following external terminal:

  • Name: Estación Ferroviaria Intermodal Silla
  • Address: Av. de Picassent, 5, 46460 Silla, Valencia
  • Distance from the port: Approximately 20 km

The proposed solution involves using a truck shunting service to transport containers from the Port of Valencia to Silla & vice versa, where the trains will be loaded/unloaded.

The additional cost of this shunting service would be €140 per container. The other alternative as usual is a direct truck.

Please contact us with any concerns, comments, or suggestions. We will keep you informed about this exceptional situation. We want to thank you for your business and look forward to continuing to serve your global transportation needs.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
